Sellick Partnership are excited to be recruiting for an Contracts Manager/Solicitor to join a public sector organisation in Yorkshire on a locum basis. The role will be for a minimum of 9 months and can be worked entirely remotely.

Responsibilities:

  • Drafting, negotiating and advising on a wide range of research agreements, such as; NDAs, funding agreements, collaboration agreements, grant agreements, join-venture agreements, studentships etc
  • Representing clients at meetings both with external funders and collaborators along with their legal representatives
  • Liaising with research and academic staff to establish contracting requirements and finalising matters

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, hard working individual who is looking to develop their skills within a Higher Education setting. You do not have to be a qualified solicitor for this position, however you are welcome to apply! Candidates with previous experience working in a University would be advatageous.
