Our client is currently looking for an experienced Safer Neighbourhoods Officer to join their team on a Permanent basis

Key Responsibilities of the Safer Neighbourhoods Officer:

• Carry out investigations and take appropriate action to ensure an effective service which deals with breaches of tenancy quickly and effectively
• Work proactively with partner agencies to ensure that there is a co-ordinate approach to dealing with the tenancy breaches and to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour
• Assess the needs of victims and perpetrators and refer to internal and external partners for support where appropriate
• Ensure the effective reporting of safeguarding issues
• Manage a caseload and conflicting priorities

Essential criteria of the Safer Neighbourhoods Officer:

• Previous experience working in a housing management related discipline, preferably around breaches of tenancy
• Good knowledge of housing/ASB legislation policies and working practices
• Full UK Driving licence and access to own vehicle
