Sellick Partnership are exclusively recruiting for an Accounts Trainee (Semi-Senior) to join a reputable and fast growing Accountancy Practice in Crewe. This position is a result of growth and development within the business and requires an experienced part-qualified candidate (AAT/ACCA/ACA). This role offers a wide range of benefits including study support and flexibility around working hours/working from home.
The main duties of the Accounts Trainee include:
- Prepare financial accounts for partner review together with tax computations.
- Prepare self assessment returns for partner review.
- Liaise with clients and assist them with queries.
- Support managers and partners in producing engagement letters and other communications.
- Complete VAT returns.
- Ensure that financial accounts are compliant with legislation and standards.
The successful candidate will have proven experience working within a similar role within an Accountancy Firm and therefore must be able to build and maintain client relationships. They will be self-motivated, resourceful, good at problem solving and work well under pressure. They will also be studying towards AAT minimum (or have started ACCA/ACA).
