Senior Accounts Payable Clerk

Role: Senior Accounts Payable Clerk

Location: Wolverhampton - Office based

Type: Temporary - Full Time

Duration: Two to Three months

Hourly rate: £9 to £12 per hour plus holiday pay

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Accounts Payable Clerk for our Public Sector client based out of Wolverhampton. If you are hardworking, enthusiastic and want to work for a great organisation, then this excellent opportunity is for you.

Job Summary:

Working as a member of the Accounts Payable Department, you will be responsible for ensuring timely processing and paying of invoices submitted and responsible for the reconciliation of supplier accounts.

Key responsibilities for the Senior Accounts Payable Clerk

  • Examine supplier statements
  • Liaise with external suppliers to resolve any queries
  • Process weekly payment runs
  • Filing and scanning of all invoices and credit notes
  • New Vendor account
  • Vendor payment processing

Person Specification for the Senior Accounts Payable Clerk:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Purchase Ledger experience
