A popular London Borough Council is seeking a locum Senior Lawyer to come on board to manage the Adult Social Care team and handle a mixed caseload of adult social care and childcare cases.
The assignment will begin on an initial 3 months contract with the view to extend on a rolling basis. The work will be conducted remotely for the foreseeable future and equipment will be provided for home working.
Our client is seeking a hard-working Senior Lawyer with prior experience of managing a team and handling complex cases within a Local Authority.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Management of the Adult Social Care team
- Mixed caseload of:
- Court of Protection
- Deprivation of Liberty
- Care proceedings
- Complex childcare matters
The successful Senior Adults and Childcare Lawyer will enjoy a varied and interesting caseload, competitive hourly rate and flexible working patterns.
