An exciting opportunity has come up for a Senior Associate within Employment law to join a leading law firm in Bristol

Title: Senior Associate - Employment
Salary: £75,000 +
Contract: Full time permanent
Location: Bristol

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Associate Opportunity:

  • Advising clients on a wide range of employment law matters, including contracts, policies, grievances, disciplinaries, redundancies, TUPE, and litigation
  • Managing a varied caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, both for employers and employees
  • Effective and efficient delivery of work on own matters, ensuring matters are profitable and work is resourced at the right levels
  • Supervising and mentoring junior members of the team and assisting with business development activities
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and providing excellent client service

Desirable Skills and Requirements of the Senior Associate Opportunity:

  • Qualified solicitor with at least 5 years of PQE in employment law or equivalent
  • Excellent technical knowledge of employment law and practice
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills
  • Input and implement ideas into the departmental business plan and demonstrate new business success from the BD activities
