Sellick Partnership are currently working with a well-established law firm in Surrey, where an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate to join their Court of Protection team.

The Role:

As a result of ambitious growth plans, our client are looking for a new Senior Associate to join our Court of Protection team. The team deal with all aspects of Court of Protection work, including property and affairs management and community care for clients who have received compensation as a result of personal injury or clinical negligence. The team is growing so a Senior Associate is now required to manage complex work and help supervise more junior team members. The client would also like to strengthen the team's technical knowledge, in terms of personal injuries trusts and statutory wills.

The team work on some great quality PI and clinical negligence work, so this is an exciting opportunity for someone ambitious to be a part of something progressive!

Person Specification

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • A solid background in Private Client work (specific Brain Injury Litigation experience is not essential as full training will be given).
  • Very strong technical skills in Statutory Wills and Personal Injury Trusts, to manage complex queries.
  • A hands-on, efficient 'doer' who can improve the quality of existing work and complete work to a very high standard.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills to manage and develop junior team members.
