A Central East London Borough are looking for a Senior Inquiry Lawyer to join their team. This is initially a locum contract, 3 to 6 months, with the view to extend.

The Senior Inquiry Lawyer should be an experienced childcare or family lawyer, who will lead the council's involvement in the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse. The Senior Inquiry Lawyer will have strong drafting skills and an ability to identify and advise on corporate risk. Previous experience of working on an Inquiry would be ideal, but our client will happily consider those from a strong childcare or family law background.

The Senior Inquiry Lawyer will also pick up advocacy and childcare files when the Inquiry isn't too demanding.
