Our client, a local authority based in London is currently seeking a Senior Childcare Lawyer to join their legal team on a locum basis.
The client is seeking candidates that have experience of handling public childcare cases, as you will be managing a small caseload of care cases alongside managing a team of 4 lawyers.
This is a fantastic opportunity to undertake a senior role within a large local authority, and we feel this would be a great career move for either a seasoned senior lawyer who wants a change of environment, or an experienced lawyer who is looking to take the next step in their career.
This council holds an excellent reputation and there is also long term prospects for the future. The ideal candidate would have public sector experience, however they are happy to consider those with a private practice background.
Employees will benefit from an onsite café and an easily accessible location due to the council having excellent transport links to the rest of London and the wider region, with Canary Wharf, the City, London City Airport and the new international rail terminal at Stratford all within easy reach of the borough. They have exciting developments taking place in their town centres and neighbourhoods, bringing new housing, schools and leisure facilities.
We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Rayhaneh Tehrani in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
