Senior Childcare Lawyer opportunity with managerial duties!

Great role for an experienced childcare lawyer to join a large and dynamic London Borough Council. This is a locum contract for an initial 3-months with strong potential for further extension, paying between £50 - £60 umbrella rate per hour. The Senior Childcare Lawyer will work remotely for the duration of the assignment, with just 1 monthly meeting in the offices.

The Senior Childcare Lawyer will have previous managerial experience, ideally from within local government, and will be experienced in childcare law. Further duties include:

  • Managing a caseload of care cases and pre-proceedings
  • Managing 5 Childcare Lawyers
  • Advising and liaising with social workers and external parties

The council's childcare team are really friendly and welcoming, and paralegal support is provided.

This is a really fantastic opportunity for an experienced lawyer with some managerial experience to build on this and develop within the role. The council is also offering a very competitive rate.

Management isn't often available in locum roles so don't miss out on this great opportunity.

If interested get in touch with Brogan Connolly in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
