Senior Childcare Lawyer
Rate: £55 per hour (umbrella)
Location: East Anglia
Working: Hybrid (maternity cover 9 months)
About the Senior Childcare Lawyer Role:
Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a locum Senior Childcare Lawyer to join a local authority based in East Anglia. The role will be covering a period of maternity leave of between 9 - 12 months.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Childcare Lawyer role:
- To act as a legal advisor
- Advise upon and conduct proceedings relating to the care and protection of children
- To provide legal advice and support services to clients
- To carry a caseload of predominantly public childcare care proceedings
- To advocate, when necessary, at the family courts up to once per week
The role will be a hybrid working arrangement whereby you will need to attend family courts in East Anglia at in person hearings on an occasional basis.
