Senior Childcare Lawyer required for an initial 3 month period to join a Local Authority based in London.

This is a fantastic opportunity to undertake a senior role within a large local authority, and we feel this would be a great career move for either a seasoned senior lawyer who wants a change of environment, or an experienced lawyer who is looking to take the next step in their career.

The successful Senior Childcare Lawyer will be required to undertake a full, varied childcare caseload of both public proceedings and pre proceeding matters. They will be required to attend Legal Planning Meetings, PLO meetings and Advocates meetings.

The ideal candidate will have previous local authority experience, although Childcare Lawyers from a private practice background are encouraged to apply provided they have had hands-on experience in dealing with public childcare cases.

Due to the urgent nature of this role, the client is ideally seeking someone who is available to start on short notice.

We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Kate Wilkinson in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
