Senior Solicitor Needed!

Are you an experienced civil litigation expert with management experience? If so, this could be the ideal role for you!

This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and successful in-house legal services team in a senior solicitor capacity. My client is looking for an experienced litigator to manage a team of 10 people who all specialise in civil litigation matters. The team consists of 6 solicitors, 2 legal executives and 2 legal assistants. The team deals with a real wide range of civil litigation matters at both high and county court level. You will be tasked with the day to day management of the team, alongside advising on a range of high level civil litigation matters on behalf of the Council. Management duties will include one to ones, case allocation, liaising with external solicitors and project management of outsourced work.

This is a full time locum role to be worked entirely remotely. This role would be ideal for a candidate who has considerable management experience, coupled with a litigation background. You will balance competing priorities and you will constantly maintain an awareness of the corporate and commercial implications of your advice. You will be engaged in often complex and interesting work within an experienced, supportive team which develops and values its staff.

You will be a qualified solicitor, barrister or equivalent with demonstrable relevant experience in relation to management duties and civil litigation matters within either a public and or private sector background.
