Senior Commercial Property Lawyer

Sellick Partnership's specialist legal team are delighted to be recruiting for a Senior Commercial Property Lawyer opportunity in a well-established Local Authority in the East Midlands. The assignment is for an initial 3 months with a view for extension and is to start around October/ November time.
As the Senior Commercial Property Lawyer, you will have broad experience of property matters within the Public Sector and can hit the ground running in this role. The successful lawyer will be managing a team of three with varying levels of experience and will be on hand to delegate files to them whilst providing training and support to the more junior member. You will enjoy a varied and interesting caseload with matters ranging from routine and complex including regeneration and development matters.
Your caseload will include:
- Commercial leases and licenses
- Residential property matters
- Landlord and tenant
- Lease renewals
- Regeneration and development matters
- Development agreements for commercial property
The Local Authority enjoys a strong regional presence and offers the successful lawyer a competitive hourly rate of £45-50 per hour and attractive flexibility of remote working and condensed working hours.
Allocated parking is available on-site and the office is conveniently based for national public transport services.
