A Local Authority based in central Birmingham are currently seeking a Senior Commercial Property Solicitor to join their team. Flexible working will be available for this role.

It is essential that candidates are qualified solicitors or equivalent, and have an understanding of the following areas of property law:

  • Freehold and leasehold
  • Surrenders
  • Easements
  • Covenants and property management processes

The successful Senior Commercial Property Solicitor will be responsible for:

  • Managing the commercial property team
  • Leading on the delivery of the Council's property portfolio
  • Support the Council's regeneration projects
  • Working collaboratively with Property Services within the Council

This is a full-time position and is to begin immediately for an initial period of 3 months, although it is likely the role will continue beyond that.
