Senior Contracts and Procurement Solicitor required to join a local authority based in London on a locum contract.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced solicitor to undertake a senior role within a busy local authority. This local authority deal with a number of high value and complex contracts, which makes this a very rewarding role.

The successful Senior Contracts and Procurement Solicitor will be drafting and amending a wide range of contracts, advising stakeholders and dealing with EU procurement matters.

Required skills and experience for the Contracts Lawyer:

  • Qualified Solicitor/Barrister or FILEX
  • Significant experience in Contract Law
  • Experience of dealing with contract related governance issues
  • Experience of dealing with contracts/procurement and the tendering process
  • Experience of advising senior officers within a Council/corporate structure

The team is looking for a hands on and motivated individual to join a small team who work together closely to produce fast and accurate results. Our client is ideally looking for a Senior Contracts Lawyer who possesses local authority contracts and procurement experience.
