Senior Democratic & Electoral Services Officer required to join a large, popular London Borough council on a remote locum basis.

This assignment is to cover long-term sick leave and is expected to extend until at least the end of March. Due to the urgent nature of this requirement, my client is seeking someone who can start immediately.

The ideal candidate with have previous experience of working in a local authority Democratic Services role.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare and manage committee meetings
  • Take minutes at meetings
  • Maintenance of the Electoral Register
  • Delivery of elections
  • Produce reports
