Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting an interim Senior Finance Manager to join an NHS organisation in Doncaster.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive financial management support to one of the larger, more complex clinical divisions (CSS, Surgery or Medicine). Reporting directly to the Head of Business Services and having close working relationships with the Divisional Director and Divisional General Manager for the area responsible, providing high level and complex financial support and leadership in relation to financial issues.
The role will also be an integral part of the Senior Finance Leadership Team within the Finance Department. This includes but not limited to: leading on change projects within and outside of the Department, providing specialist training in particular areas within and outside of the Department (e.g. demand and capacity planning), leading on training programmes for trainees in the Department, leading on complex cross cutting CIP schemes and costing programmes etc.
Main duties and Responsibilities:
- Providing finance support to projects and initiatives
- Business and financial planning
- Financial Monitoring and Reporting
- Pricing and costing
- Work with Directorates to ensure the effective and efficient use of available resources.
- Statutory Accounting and Governance
NHS experience is essential.
