We are recruiting to a fantastic opportunity as a Senior Lawyer/Manager within a London Borough Council.
Our London Borough client is looking for a Senior Lawyer/Manager on a locum-basis. The contract is an initial 3 months with the likelihood to extend on an on-going basis. The role is fully remote, and they are looking to pay £45 - £55 per hour, umbrella rate.
The successful Senior Lawyer/Manager will have extensive experience of managing a team. This post is open to both qualified and non-qualified candidates. They will ideally hold knowledge of data protection procedures, specifically Subject Access Request (SARs). Our client is looking for a people person who can demonstrate great leadership skills, with the ability to engage and motivate their team.
The responsibilities of the role will include, but not limited to:
- Direct line management of 4 team managers, who supervise a team of 40 paralegals
- Chairing team and task led meetings
- Extensive legal research
- Drafting notes and statements
- Deputising for Principal Lawyer, when required
