We are looking to recruit an experienced locum Senior Housing Litigation Lawyer to join our highly-reputable London Borough Council client.

This will be a fully remote working role paying a competitive £38 - £45 per hour. The assignment will be an initial 3 month contract with the view to extend on a rolling basis.

Our client is looking for a Senior Housing Litigation Lawyer with a good level of experience within the public sector who will be ready to hit the ground running upon appointment.

The duties of the role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide housing litigation and housing management advice to a London Borough council
  • Senior duties include supervision, one to ones, leading daily team briefings, assisting in managing the teams' court diary and attending meetings with the teams' Senior Lawyers and the Principal Lawyer
  • Regularly deputising the Principle Lawyer, providing advice and assistance to clients, Members and Senior Management

The team managed by the successful Senior Housing Litigation Lawyer deal with the following matters:

  • Disrepair
  • Unauthorised occupation
  • Leasehold Disputes
  • Business Tenancies
  • Succession
  • ASB injunctions
  • ASB possessions
  • Flexible tenancies
  • Homelessness
  • S204 appeals
