We are currently looking for a Senior Litigation Lawyer to join a local authority based in London for an initial 3 month period, with the possibility of extension thereafter.

The successful candidate will be required to deal with a variety of civil litigation, with a particular focus on matters relating to anti- social behaviour, housing, landlord and tenant, civil and criminal litigation.

The Senior Lawyer will be responsible for handling high profile and more complex casework therefore a knowledge in dealing with judicial reviews and statutory challenges is essential. You will be conducting proceedings in the County Court, High Court, Crown Court and Magistrate Court, therefore experience of advocacy at contested or defended hearings is an essential.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Lawyer to join an accommodating local authority who can offer one day working from home for the right candidate.
