Sellick Partnership are working together with a North East based health body to recruit a Senior Management Accountant for a period of 9 months. The successful Management Accountant will be working for an organisation who deliver high quality care, using the most appropriate methods and cost effective resources, to improve healthcare provision for the people of the region.

You will have a responsibility to deliver high-quality management accounting work which involves the analysis of financial information, month-end coordination, preparation of financial reports, supporting costing and analytical projects, and helping non-Finance colleagues to interpret and understand financial principles and procedures.

You will be supervising staff and will need to demonstrate team leading ability, strong communication and interpersonal skills.

You should have gained, or be studying towards an accountancy qualification or equivalent. You will have excellent (especially Microsoft excel) IT skills with proven ability to analyse large volumes of data and transform it into meaningful reports. Although previous experience of working in a large organisation is desirable, it is more important that applicants can demonstrate confidence, analytical and organisational ability, and a flexible approach to the demands of the job.

We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Helen Dodds in our Newcastle office for a confidential discussion.
