Senior Planning and Litigation Lawyer is required to join a local authority based to the South of London for an initial 3 month contract, with the view of extension thereafter.
The Senior Planning and Litigation Lawyer will have experience in both planning and litigation, ideally from a public sector background but is happy to consider private practice candidates.
You will be required to manage and supervise a small team of 2-3 and be on hand to assist where necessary. The workload of the team is 30% non-contentious planning matters which will include planning agreements and planning advice work. The litigation aspect will involve contentious planning matters, civil litigation and debt recovery matters in the team.
This is a really good opportunity for someone who has supervised in their last role and is looking to cement some further experience on their CV. Our client is happy to consider someone either on a part time or full time basis and there is the opportunity for home working depending on the hours you are working.
