Senior Planning Lawyer
£40 - £47 per annum
A Senior Planning Lawyer is required to join an extremely busy local authority in Norfolk for an initial 3 month period.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Planning Lawyer to join a supportive team who offer excellent administrative support within a busy local authority. The Senior Planning Lawyer must have county and district experience; thus able to manage a high value caseload in a fast paced environment.
The successful Planning Lawyer will undertake duties such as:
- Dealing with high value planning obligations and highway agreements
- Obtaining compulsory purchase orders for regeneration schemes
- Advising on a number of high profile compulsory purchase orders
- Acquiring empty properties
- Advising clients on planning issues
- Dealing with judicial review applications
- Planning enforcement and advising at planning committees
- Planning policy and guidance
The local authority are happy to accommodate the successful candidate with a level of flexibility around working hours if required, with the opportunity to working from home every week.
