Senior Property Lawyer
12 Months Fixed Term Contract
Senior Property Lawyer is required to join a large organisation for a fixed period of 12 months and the possibility for a further extension. This organisation has offices across Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire so you have the option to be based at either site. The role will start remotely with the view for flexible working thereafter.
This organisation currently undertakes work on behalf of local authority clients but you will specifically be working for one particular client who is looking at significant development and regeneration in the regional area. The client is ideally looking for someone who has experience within development work from either a private practice or public sector background.
You will be working closely with the Principal Lawyer with acquiring land for development and promotion. You will be seeking this to develop for both commercial and residential use as part of an ongoing project. As such, we are looking for candidates that have had exposure to undertaking matters such as acquisitions and disposals, development and options agreements.
This is a really exciting time to join the organisation as a number of ongoing large scale development projects are being undertaken and there is scope for this role to extend beyond this and have permanent options further downt the line.
This role is relatively urgent so we encourage those on shorter notices to apply however the client is happy to consider longer notice periods for the right candidate.
