Excellent opportunity to join a prestigious UK regulator as a Senior Public & Regulatory Lawyer.

This is a permanent role with a very competitive starting salary of £85,648 as well as some attractive extra benefits which are outlined below! Their modern offices are based in Central London with great access to public transport links and local amenities. You are required to attend the office four days every fortnight.

Our client is seeking a qualified lawyer with demonstrable experience in regulatory and/or public law. In addition, experience in competition law, litigation and/or corporate and commercial law is desirable.

The successful lawyer will be a positive and hard-working individual with a genuine interest in the field of work. There will be opportunity to move up within your pay bracket and to progress within the organisation.

You will be working closely with the General Counsel and the Director of Legal Services to ensure the following accountabilities are met:

  • Deliver high quality, timely and customer-orientated legal advice to internal clients under the supervision of the senior lawyers and the Director of Legal Services
  • Be an effective member of General Counsel Team (GCT), supporting in the delivery of GCT's strategic and policy objectives.
  • Identify, escalate and mitigate legal risk issues as appropriate.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to identify and implement ways to best deliver strategic and policy objectives.
  • Effectively manage internal and external stakeholder relationships.
