Our client, a leading housing association in Shrewsbury is looking for an experienced Support Worker to support their service users.
Responsibilities for the Support Worker role include;
*Working with service users with varying vulnerable needs
*Creating and updating support plans and risk assessments for clients
*Assisting service users to live as independently as possible
*Helping clients with budgeting, and ensuring that they have the correct benefits in place
*Setting up college and training courses for candidates
*Working closely with third party agencies including; Social Services, Police, GP's Probation Services
*Supporting service users to access services in the community
A successful candidate will have previous experience of supporting service users with vulnerable needs. You will have a current DBS check and hold a valid driving license.
