Do you enjoy making a difference and supporting others?

Our client, a housing association in Cheshire is looking for a floating support worker to provide support to a range of clients in and around Cheshire

Duties of the Support worker role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting vulnerable clients living within their own homes
  • Creating and updating support plans and risk assessments
  • Assisting them to live as independently as possible
  • Helping with budgeting, and ensuring that they have the correct benefits in place
  • Working closely with third party agencies including; Social Services, Police, GP's Probation Services
  • Supporting the service user to access services in the community
  • Supporting tenants to live safely and independently by carrying out welfare checks either face to face or over the phone as appropriate

The successful support worker will have:

  • Previous experience of supporting vulnerable service users
  • Great communication skills
  • An enhanced DBS
  • Access to a car with business insurance
