Support Worker
Derby, Derbyshire, Burton upon Trent and surrounding areas
4-6 Months, 20-40 Hours

£Competitive Umbrella or PAYE rate

Our client, an organisation based in Derbyshire is currently recruiting for a number of Support Workers to join their Elderly care and responsive team and assist the elderly and vulnerable on a temporary basis for up to 6 months.

Duties of the Support Worker include:

  • Working as part of a team to provide a dedicated, sensitive, needs based and responsive service to older person's using the Supported Housing Service
  • Working with elderly and at risk clients within a Careline service
  • Making timely response to emergency calls and initiating appropriate actions
  • Making routine calls/visits to customers in accordance with their assessed needs
  • To programme, test and install equipment related to the delivery of the Supported Housing Service
  • Monitoring health and safety, fire precautions and security at schemes, reporting any security or health and safety risks
