Supported Housing Team Leader

Full Time, 37 hours



Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Supported Housing Team Leader for a public sector organisation in near Sleaford

Salary: £29,000 per annum

Responsibilities of the Supported Housing Team Leader include:

  • Manage a team of Sheltered Housing Officers
  • Ensure operational procedures and systems are fit for purpose and to deliver value for money and good customer service
  • Taking responsibility for the day to day management of; Sheltered Housing, Housing Support and Resident Involvement
  • Ensure casework standards are in place and standards are regularly checked
  • Leading, managing and motivating the team, completing check ins and ensuring workload planning and relevant cover of the service is maintained, including year-end planning
  • Participate in and support partnership working with other agencies and statutory bodies
  • Ensure all staff are trained on key policies and procedures and contribute towards ensuring performance against KPI's and taking any necessary action in order to achieve targets
  • Ensure safeguarding procedures for the team are in place, attending risk management meetings to support delivery of relevant statutory obligations
  • Support the Tenancy Services Manager to respond to enquiries of Elected Members, MP's and customer complaints and assist with the preparation of reports and service plans
  • Assist with the effective management of budgets and ensure revenue and income is maximized
  • Review and develop strategies, policies, procedures and plans for the team, recommending changes and improvements which deliver better outcomes for residents and the council
  • Deputise for the Tenancy Services Manager and Tenancy Services Team Leader in their absence
  • Provide support in the procurement of services where necessary
