The purpose of this role is to carry out development and maintenance work on the organisations systems in line with change and projects led by the deliver team. The systems developer will ensure that all development is delivered on time, meeting coast and quality requirements whilst guiding over developers in the team.

Main Duties:

Perform efficient software development and defect management in line with the prescribed development method and ensure it is done with SLA.

Ensure that allocated taks are delivered to agreed timescales and costs liasing with the Development Manager, Project Managers, Developers and Testers.

Creating and maintaining technical documentation.

Determine system software design requirements and ensures solutions are successfully implemented to increase efficiency.

Keep up to date with new technology and techniques relating to software development.

Ensure applications are compatible across multiple computing platforms and browsers.

Generate test documentation and closure reports.

Provide client support, ensuring all incidents are resolved within the relevant SLA

Experience:

3 + years experinece working with a content management system, ideally Sitefinity or comparable.

Must have strong software development skills and experience in the following:

.Net Framework/ C#/ LINQ/ Entity Framework

MVC web applications & Web API's

ASPX web forms

SQL (queries, T-SQL, joins and scheduler)

HTML & CSS

Data structures XML, XSD, JSON

IIS

Understanding of defect management and the use of bug tracking tools

Good inter-personal skills and ability to communicate effectively both verbally/ in writing
