Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a boutique tax firm within central London. Due to the continued success of the firm, they have recently expanded their office space and are now looking to recruit the future leaders within the field. A specialist in tax solutions and expert dispute resolution services, the firm has rapidly grown across all types of tax investigations and enquiries.

Working within a growing team, you will be at the forefront of business development, and you will often work alongside the MD to further progress the firm. This role will solely focus on the advisory side of tax, giving the successful individual a chance to develop their skillset alongside developing a specialism. Whilst there is a large pool of existing clients, due to the nature of the role, you will be expected to work with business development managers to source new business and pitch for this where necessary.

I have outlined the main responsibilities below:

  • Assist clients and introducers in the delivery of tax advice and related implementation
  • Handle client queries in relation to past, present and potential future tax advice
  • Inform clients and introducers of new tax advice being promoted by the firm or any historic tax advice which has been effected by changes in legislation
  • Managing related accounting and tax compliance issues and associated deadlines in respect of any advice provided;
  • Assist clients and introducers in dealing with any HMRC related enquiries
  • Provide technical support to other members of staff on tax and enquires when required
  • Develop business and manage relationships with new and existing clients

The person

The successful applicant will be a proactive, fully qualified Accountant (CTA/ACA/ICAS/ACCA) with a passion to provide a high quality service. Due to the nature of this position it is necessary that the successful individual is able to communicate with key stakeholders and has a drive to develop the business and their work load.
