Sellick Partnership are currently engaged by a leading General Insurer as they seek to recruit a new Technical Pricing Manager to work on their Household products.

As well as providing mentoring and training to junior members of the team, the Technical Pricing Manager will also be responsible for building models (GLMs), identifying new data sources and building relationships across the Actuarial function.

Excitingly, our client are increasingly looking to fully utilise the potential of open source Data Science tools such as R and Python to build models and implement Machine Learning techniques.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of General Insurance experience, preferably within Personal Lines, an excellent understanding of Pricing techniques and a highly numeric degree such as Mathematics.

Experience of using R and Python to implement Machine Learning techniques such as GBMs and neural networks will also be highly advantageous. Previous management experience would be advantageous but this role could also be well suited to a Senior Pricing Analyst looking to make a step up in their career.

There is an excellent overall package on offer including flexible working, a strong pension scheme and an annual discretionary bonus.
