Tenancy Services Team Leader

Full Time, 37 hours

Permanent

Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Tenancy Services Team Leader for a public sector organisation in Nottinghamshire.

Salary: £29,000 per annum

Responsibilities of the Tenancy Services Team Leader include:

  • Manage a team of six Housing Officers and two Housing Assistants
  • Ensure operational procedures and systems are fit for purpose, deliver value for money and good customer service
  • Ensure casework standards are in place and standards are regularly checked
  • Lead, manage and motivate the team, completing check ins and ensuring workload planning and relevant cover of the service is maintained, including year-end planning
  • Responsibility for management and letting of garages
  • Management of Travelers Rest Site including processing applications and managing the site Warden
  • Ensure the delivery of timely, consistent and appropriate interventions to ensure tenancy compliance and sustainment
  • Participate in and support partnership working with other agencies and statutory bodies
  • Ensure all staff are trained on key policies and procedures and contribute towards ensuring performance against KPI's
  • Ensure safeguarding procedures for the team are in place, attending risk management meetings to support delivery of relevant statutory obligations
  • Support the Tenancy Services Manager to respond to enquiries of Elected Members, MP's and customer complaints
  • Assist with the effective management of budgets and ensure revenue and income is maximized
  • Review and develop strategies, policies, procedures and plans for the team, recommending changes and improvements which deliver better outcomes for residents and the council

Required skills and experience of the Tenancy Services Team Leader:

  • Multi-agency working
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Knowledge of Housing Legislations, Anti-Social Behaviour, Tenancy Enforcement and Safeguarding
