Tenancy Support Worker
Temporary, Full Time


Our client is looking for an experienced Tenancy Support Worker to join their team on a temporary basis

Responsibilities of the Tenancy Support Worker include:

  • Support service users/tenants to express themselves and make informed decisions
  • Devise and implement individual care and/or support plans with risk assessments
  • Assisting them to live as independently as possible
  • Follow and review care and/or support plans with the service user and record progress of plans
  • Providing tenancy related support
  • Helping with budgeting, and ensuring that they have the correct benefits in place
  • Supporting the service user to access services in the community

Essential criteria of the Tenancy Support Worker includes:

  • An understanding of maximising tenant income and applying for welfare benefits is essential
  • A good understanding of housing related support and experience of working with vulnerable people is essential
  • Willing to travel around Nottingham City is essential. Mileage will be paid at 0.45p per mile
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in relevant field
  • Full UK Driving Licence and Transport
  • Current Enhanced DBS
