First class numerical graduate wanted to join a market leading General Insurance provider as they seek to recruit a new trainee Actuarial Analyst.
This role will see you working across our client's Personal Lines of business (Home, Motor, Travel) to build a variety of mathematical models.
Excitingly, our client believes in a 'Data First' approach and as such, are increasingly using open source Data Science tools such as R and Python to implement Machine Learning techniques across the Actuarial function.
If you're a naturally analytical individual with a highly numeric degree such as Mathematics or Physics, work well in a team and want to make a tangible difference within a truly global organisation, this role could be suited to you.
Requirements of the Actuarial Analyst
- Must hold a first class degree in a numerical subject
- Must be an aspiring Actuary looking to focus on Actuarial examinations
- Highly analytical skillset is highly advantageous
- Previous experience within General Insurance is advantageous but not essential
