Opportunity to join a Growth 100 business at an exciting period as they launch another business unit. This is a newly created role to take ownership and manage the transaction finance function. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller the successful Transactional Finance Manager will manage a team of 4 however this is likely to grow quickly.

Core duties will include;

* Manage a team of 4 transactional accounts assistants - probably increasing in size over the coming months

* Team 121's and performance review

* Be able to provide direction, guidance and develop the existing team whilst providing advice to the Group Financial Controller as to required future resource

* Report directly to Group Financial Controller and liaise with Group Management Accountant to ensure robust production of management information

* Ensure accurate processing of large volumes of payments and receipts for two entities to be separated - broker and lender

* Ensure regular bank account reconciliations are undertaken for a number of bank accounts - broker

* Ensure the accounts inbox queries are actioned in a timely manner

* Process review and adherence

* Ensure outstanding items are reported and acted upon promptly (both lending and broker)

* Ensure inter group commission statements are raised each month

* Ensure purchase ledger and sales ledger for sales and purchases match on a monthly basis in the broker business (large volumes of transactions)

* Arrange for prompt payments of company suppliers and employees allowing for segregation of duties

* Ensure insurance bank account is kept up to date and insurers settled monthly

* Ensure appropriate control account reconciliations are undertaken promptly and correctly (in both broker and lending business) - arranging for outstanding items to be controlled expediently

* Be able to work towards daily, weekly and monthly deadlines

* Be able to represent the Finance Department in a mature and professional manner both externally and within the group of companies
