24 Queen Street,
At Sellick Partnership, I recruit legal professionals into locum positions in local authorities, charities and housing associations across Cumbria, Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Cheshire and North Wales.
Following a number of roles including procurement team manager, credit controller and English Language teacher, I joined Sellick Partnership in 2010 as a Trainee Consultant. As a result of the expertise I accrued, I then progressed to the role of Senior Consultant in 2013 and then to my current role as Principal Consultant in 2016.
My specialty lies in building a rapport with both clients and candidates which allows me to understand individuals’ needs. This comprehensive understanding enables me to place candidates in the right roles based on their qualifications, personality and matching them to the correct working environment.
One aspect of working at Sellick Partnership that I particularly enjoy is the opportunity to meet clients and candidates in person. As a company, we regularly attend annual events such as the LLG Weekend School as well as organising legal roundtable seminars and CPD events. Such events allow me to gain a wider understanding of the legal market and my specialist areas, meaning I continue to deliver the best service possible.
Outside of the office, my interests mainly revolve around music, literature and world cinema. One of the best things about living in Manchester is that you can almost guarantee that there is a good gig or film available on any given night of the week. This year, I started drum lessons and this is now my favourite and failsafe way to relax.
