The 3 businesses include: a jewellery studio, which supports at-risk women through teaching skills in jewellery production; a knitware social enterprise working with marginalized communities to produce hand knit products; and their newest company producing weaving & crafts such as scarfs, throws and cushions using local materials, natural dyes and traditional methods. They provide opportunities to women from rural communities, training them in crafting design and techniques, small business management and Fairtrade practices. Your Role As a new shop and joint entity, the group have asked for support in setting up the shop’s accounting system. Key duties include setting and agreement of annual budgets (financial plans) and monitoring of performance against financial plans through detailed analytical review and investigation of variances.
