44 Old Hall Street,
I started working at Sellick Partnership in January 2012 when the Liverpool office opened. My role is Office Manager/Senior Resourcer and comprises providing all round support to the team. This includes administration support, candidate sourcing and interviewing, developing and maintaining candidate relationships, generating leads and assisting with covering the consultants' desks. I am also responsible for office management which includes liaising with building management and health and safety within the office. I ensure the team have what they need, when they need it. My role has developed greatly since I started and I have had the opportunity to be involved in a project team for a new online timesheet system in 2014. I also helped recruit and train our Administrator and mentor her on an ongoing basis.
After secondary education I went to Buckinghamshire College of Higher Education and gained a HND in Business Studies with Bilingual and Secretarial Options.
I have worked within the recruitment industry for over 18 years and previously worked as a Consultant in the commercial sector. This included working with various clients across all industry sectors for both temporary and permanent recruitment. I have also spent time running a driving desk and 18 months in an onsite role at IBM in London and Manchester. Whilst I worked in the onsite role, I completed my Certificate in Personnel Practice. My current manager, Abigail Day, placed me into a role prior to me joining the Liverpool office and therefore I have firsthand experience of being a candidate for Sellick Partnership.
In my spare time I enjoy belly dance classes, pilates, reiki, socialising and eating out. In 2014 and 2015 I completed the 15 mile Wirral Coastal Walk to raise funds for St John's Hospice, Wirral and also do some ad hoc volunteer work for them. I also work as a voluntary Awareness Ambassador for Target Ovarian Cancer, a national ovarian cancer charity. This has included attending and organising events and talks which have raised both awareness and funds as well being invited to speak about awareness raising on local radio.
