Health & Wellbeing at Sellick Partnership

Making sure all of our employees have a healthy mind and body is really important to us and we have implemented a range of schemes to ensure you maintain your health

  • Medicash - company health cash plan

Medicash is a healthcare provider which operates as a not-for-profit company, operating for 140 years offering corporate healthcare and benefits. A cash plan lets you claim money back on everyday healthcare costs including optical, dental, physiotherapy, hypnotherapy and chiropody. Children are automatically covered up to the age of 18, or 24 if they are still in full time education. Children can claim up to 50% of the adult annual allowance. Your partner can also be added to your plan for a small additional monthly cost. 

Eligible employees will be joined automatically to the scheme following 12 months completed service. 

  • Best Doctors

Included as part of this plan is Best Doctors which offers access to expert medical information and second medical opinions. Best Doctors connects members to the knowledge and expertise of over 53,000 world-leading consultants, helping to ensure you get an accurate diagnosis and receive the correct treatment.

  • Employee Assistance Programme

Your emotional wellbeing is equally as important as your physical wellbeing. This is why we provide a helpline 24/7 for you to call and speak to experts on a wide range of issues including family care, debt concerns, bereavement, money management, work/like balance and stress. Whatever it is you need, the Employee Assistance Programme helpline can provide confidential and impartial advice. 

  • Face to face counselling

You may feel that face to face counselling would be more beneficial than telephone support. We also offer our employee’s up to 6 face to face counselling sessions. These can be arranged directly (or following a referral from your manager if you prefer).

  • Personal accident cover

An accident that results in injury can be a distressing time and could be financially stressful. As part of our health benefits we offer £5,000 of personal accident cover to all employees under our Medicash policy.

  • Legal assistance

We have also arranged a free 30 minute legal advice line which each employee can use once. Trained, professional solicitors can advise you on buying a house, probate, writing a will, or any other legal issue you may have (with the exception of employment law). The contact details are held on the Intranet.

You will also be offered discounted prices for additional services in the future. This service is offered in the strictest privacy and there is no requirement to speak to your manager/director prior to using this.

  • Bike 2 Work Scheme

Our Bike 2 Work Scheme is the perfect way to save money whilst keeping fit and healthy. The scheme aims to reduce environmental pollution and promote a healthier lifestyle whilst making cycling a much more cost-effective option. You could save up to 42% on the cost of a new bike and equipment. 

  • Free fruit and bread

We also have a delicious range of fresh fruits available in all of our offices to ensure you get your five-a-day. Additionally, we also offer bread and drinks for you to enjoy throughout your day.
