Overview of Ella:
My role as Internal Talent Co-ordinator here at Sellick Partnership consists of covering the recruitment needs across our five offices, hiring for recruiters across each of our specialisms and also internal staff such as Internal Finance, Marketing, Compliance and Front of House team members. My purpose is to deliver a proactive and professional service to both stakeholders and candidates.
I am a dedicated, driven and enthusiastic individual with a passion for Internal Talent and Learning & Development, using my prior experience and knowledge within agency recruitment to help recruiters build their future career with us. I am customer driven with a passion for people development and customer service and have the ability to motivate others and communicate with people cross the business at all levels.
What does my day-to-day job include?
- Sourcing candidates on LinkedIn and across all available job boards
- Posting job adverts to LinkedIn, LinkedIn Recruiter and all available job boards
- Interviewing candidates and arranging interviews with hiring managers
- Helping new starters to get settled by running induction and new starter days
- Working as part of The Wellbeing Team to improve employee wellbeing across the business
- And much more!
As part of The Wellbeing Team, we are constantly working on ways to improve through campaigns and initiatives to raise awareness on different issues that can affect our wellbeing and how we can help our staff to deal with these issues as well as promoting the various wellbeing benefits that we offer!

What’s your next role?
Ella was outstanding from start to finish during the recruitment process. In a potentially tricky period for me where I was considering a change in my career, she simplified the process and helped me through each stage. She made sure to keep in regular contact with me throughout, and was always on hand to answer any questions and/or alleviate any concerns I had. On my first day she made sure I was fully set up and comfortable, knew where everything was and that I had a chance to introduce myself to everybody in the office to ensure I settled in quickly. I am almost 3 months into the role at the time of writing, and Ella still gets in touch from time to time to check in and see how I am getting on and if I need anything at all.
Ella made the entire hiring/onboarding process so much more comfortable for me. As I was transitioning from one job into this one, she made sure that there was constant communication and had the answers to any questions I had. Ella was the first person I saw on my induction day and having that familiar face made integrating into the company so much easier. I have been in my role for just over three months now and Ella still stops to chat with me when she's in our Manchester office and it's been very nice to have that steady presence.
