Commercial Lawyer / Legal Counsel is required to join a Global Energy and Utilities company which is leading the way for decarbonisation and renewable energy in the UK.

Sellick Partnership is currently seeking a Commercial Lawyer / Legal Counsel to join this Global Energy and Utilities company which are based in either their Solihull office or Nottingham office.

As the Commercial Lawyer / Legal Counsel you will be:

  • Undertaking a range of commercial contract matters which include power purchase agreements
  • Working with household name clients and well known brands in relation to supply of power
  • Assisting the business with launching of new products in relation to metering and tariffs
  • Negotiating new contracts and amending terms on existing contracts, renewals of contracts
  • Undertaking commercial and procurement strategy projects, decarbonisation projects to include offsite PV Solar and heat pumps for either large scale businesses, cities or residential customers
  • Assisting with regulatory matters and licensing requirements

As the Commercial Lawyer / Legal Counsel you will:

  • Have strong commercial experience in-house, private practice or public sector
  • Be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive
  • Be able to work collaboratively across business units and work independently as required
