Civil Litigation Locum - Fully Remote / Hybrid

A highly regarded firm is looking to recruit an experienced Civil Litigation Locum to provide support within its busy Contract Resolution team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor, FCILEx or experienced fee earner who can confidently manage a varied caseload of contractual disputes from start to finish. The assignment offers a mix of claimant and defendant work, with cases including commercial and consumer contract disputes, professional negligence, construction disputes and misrepresentation matters.

The caseload is varied, interesting and often includes complex, high value matters. You will be joining a collaborative team and will be expected to manage your own files with minimal supervision.

The successful locum will ideally have:

• Previous experience handling a broad civil litigation caseload with a focus on contractual disputes
• Experience managing Fast Track, Intermediate Track and Multi Track matters independently
• Strong client care and communication skills
• Experience using case management systems
• The ability to hit the ground running and manage competing deadlines
• Experience acting for insurer-funded clients would be advantageous, although this is not essential
