This is an excellent opportunity for a junior commercial contract professional to develop their experience within an established organisation, working with a varied range of commercial agreements and supporting the review, organisation and mapping of contractual information across the business.

The Role

You'll support a project focused on ensuring the business has a comprehensive and accurate record of its client, service and supply contracts. You'll help identify gaps in existing records, gather outstanding documentation and ensure contracts are correctly mapped against the relevant services and business entities.

Working closely with internal stakeholders and clients, you'll play an important role in gathering contractual information, maintaining accurate records and ensuring agreements are correctly recorded within the existing contract management system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and map commercial, service and supply contracts against relevant services and business streams.
  • Identify gaps in existing contract records and obtain missing documentation.
  • Liaise with client and internal stakeholders to gather contract information and outstanding agreements.
  • Ensure contracts are accurately recorded and onboarded within the contract management system.
  • Maintain comprehensive Excel inventories covering contracts, key dates and relevant business entities.
  • Support the development of a complete and accurate overview of the organisation's contractual arrangements.
  • Manage competing priorities independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy throughout the project.

About You

  • Experience in commercial contracts, ideally around 2-3 years.
  • A good understanding of commercial agreements, including service and supply contracts.
  • Experience reviewing, organising or maintaining contract records and documentation.
  • Strong Excel skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident communicating with clients and internal stakeholders to gather information.
  • Proactive, organised and able to work independently in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Experience with contract management systems would be advantageous.
  • Available immediately or on a very short notice period.

What's in it for you?

  • Six-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for extension.
  • Opportunity to develop your commercial contracts experience within an established organisation.
  • Exposure to a varied range of commercial agreements and contract management processes.
  • Hybrid working, with an initial week in the London office for induction and onboarding, followed by one day per week in the office.
  • Opportunity to contribute to an important business project with clear objectives and deliverables.
  • Open to candidates from in-house, private practice and public sector backgrounds.
