Insurance Advisory Specialist
£70,000 - £80,000
Bristol (hybrid working)
Permanent, Full Time
Sellick Partnership is partnered with a leading professional services organisation to recruit an experienced Insurance Advisory Specialist into a specialist advisory team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong commercial insurance, contractual risk and advisory experience to take on a varied role with major public-sector, government and commercial clients.
You will advise on how insurance should be structured within contracts and procurement exercises, helping them understand their exposure, set appropriate insurance requirements and assess whether suppliers have the right level of cover. The role offers exposure to major projects and complex commercial arrangements, with the opportunity to work closely with legal, procurement, commercial and risk teams.
Insurance Advisory Specialist - Role Overview
The Insurance Advisory Specialist will provide specialist advice across insurance, contracts, procurement and risk.
You will review insurance clauses and contractual requirements, advise on appropriate levels of cover, and help clients make practical decisions around liability, indemnities and risk transfer.
A key part of the role will be supporting tender and procurement exercises. This will include helping to draft insurance requirements, reviewing bidder responses and assessing whether proposed cover is suitable. Following contract award, you will also support clients with supplier insurance compliance and evidence of cover.
This is a technical advisory role rather than a traditional broking or account-handling position, making it well-suited for someone who enjoys using their insurance knowledge to solve complex commercial problems.
