Corporate Solicitor Locum - West Midlands - November Start

I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Corporate Solicitor Locum to provide interim support to a busy team in the West Midlands from November, while the firm recruits to permanent vacancies.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a Corporate Solicitor to join an established practice and provide support on a varied caseload of corporate matters. The assignment will offer an opportunity to hit the ground running, take ownership of transactions and help maintain continuity for clients while permanent recruitment is underway.

The Role

• Managing a range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, business sales and disposals.

• Drafting and negotiating share purchase agreements, asset purchase agreements and associated transaction documents.

• Advising on shareholder agreements, investment agreements and corporate restructurings.

• Managing transactions from instruction through to completion.

• Liaising directly with clients, business owners and professional advisers.

• Providing additional capacity to the existing team during the permanent recruitment process.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with strong experience in Corporate Law.

• Confident managing corporate transactions independently from start to finish.

• Strong drafting, negotiation and client management skills.

• Available to start in November.

• Previous locum experience would be advantageous, although permanent candidates seeking an interim assignment will also be considered.

Assignment Details

• Location: West Midlands

• Start date: November 2026

• Duration: Interim cover while permanent recruitment is underway

• Rate: Competitive hourly rate, dependent on experience
