Operations Team Manager - Responsive Repairs

Salary: £47,525 + £2,300 Car Allowance

Location: North East

Contract: Permanent, Full-time

Are you an experienced operational leader with a strong technical background in repairs and maintenance?

We are looking for an Operations Team Manager to lead a team of trade operatives delivering responsive repairs across the North East. A key focus of the role will be ensuring urgent repairs, including those associated with Awaab's Law, are managed quickly, effectively, and with excellent customer service.

Working within a fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for driving team performance, managing day-to-day repair operations, ensuring health and safety compliance, and delivering high levels of customer satisfaction. You will play a vital role in developing a productive, customer-focused team while ensuring repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities of the Operations Manager will include:

  • Lead and manage a team of trade operatives delivering responsive repairs.
  • Drive performance against service standards, KPIs, and customer satisfaction targets.
  • Oversee urgent repairs and complex maintenance issues, ensuring timely resolutions.
  • Monitor contractor and operative performance to deliver quality and value for money.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and company procedures.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, providing excellent service throughout.

The successful Operations Manager will have:

  • Previous experience managing repairs, maintenance or property services teams.
  • Strong technical knowledge of building maintenance and responsive repairs.
  • Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to motivate teams, manage performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Full UK driving licence.
