An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Paralegal (Post-Exchange) to join a highly regarded and specialist Real Estate team.

This is an ideal role for an organised and detail-focused paralegal looking to develop their career within a busy and high-quality Real Estate environment, working alongside experienced Partners and fee earners on a significant volume of property transactions.

The Opportunity:

You'll play an important role within the Post-Exchange Team, supporting transactions from exchange through to completion and registration, while gaining valuable exposure to a broad range of high-quality Real Estate work.

Your workload is likely to include:

  • Managing multiple workflow trackers and key completion deadlines
  • Reviewing and interpreting priority searches
  • Preparing and submitting SDLT returns
  • Preparing AP1 applications and dealing with Land Registry requisitions
  • Providing clients with progress updates and assisting with day-to-day enquiries
  • Maintaining accurate files, records and electronic trackers
  • Supporting fee earners with post-exchange processes
  • Ensuring transactions progress efficiently through to completion and registration
  • Managing competing deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and client service

You'll work as part of a well-established and collaborative Real Estate team, gaining excellent exposure to the post-exchange and completion stages of a wide range of property transactions.

About You:

  • Have at least 18 months' continuous experience in a similar role
  • Have a strong academic background, ideally with a 2:1 degree
  • Have solid drafting skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Are highly organised with strong time management skills
  • Can confidently manage a high-volume workload and competing priorities
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Are client-focused, approachable and commercially aware
  • Can work independently with limited supervision
  • Have a methodical, proactive and flexible approach
  • Are confident using Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Any experience with Registered Providers would be advantageous, but is not essential
