Sellick Partnership is seeking an Interim Project Manager for our client based in the West Midlands.

Role overview:

The programme is a major strategic transformation and investment initiative designed to improve support and outcomes for children, young people, and families across the region.

Key Focus Areas and Goals:

Early Help and Support: Shifting the focus to earlier intervention and support for families before issues escalate, reducing the number of children requiring formal child protection plans.

Relationship-Based Practice: Embedding a trauma-informed, developmentally sensitive, and relationship-based practice model (aligned with their "Connections Count" framework) across the entire organisation.

Local District Delivery: Developing localised Family Help and "Child in Need" teams embedded directly across local districts to streamline multi-agency cooperation with schools, health services, and the police.

Fostering Sufficiency: Optimising recruitment, retention, and capacity utilisation for foster carers to ensure children in care are best supported within the local community.

Recognition: The programme's heavy investment in structural and workforce improvements contributed to the Trust winning national recognition, including the Supportive Social Work Employer of the Year award.

Required experience:

Local government or wider public sector project management

Desirable experience:

Experience of implementing projects related to social care, children's or families services
